Option to Optimize the drives interleave patern for optimum speed and performance

I use to use a great program called spinrite which would do low level adjustments to drives so that they would be optimized for the system in which they are running on. One of the features was an interleave patern optimization so the data is available at the correct speed of the drive spin. Allowing faster access to long data files.
